My favourite quotes on travel

Citations. There are quotes for everyone and for any topic. Today I’ll talk about my favorite quotes on travel and I’ll explain you why I love them so much. So here it is for you my list, you know that I love lists.

  • Jobs full your pockets, adventures fill your soul
I think this quote is very well explained by itself. I fully agree with the message that launches, in fact we wouldn’t explain otherwise because time after time we find ourselves leaving and investing money and energy. We do it to fill us, to give voice to our deepest self. We feel more invigorated and at peace with ourselves. It helps us to see our life much more clearly from the outside.
  • Wherever you go becomes a part of you somehow
Any place you visit will become a part of you. It goes back a lot to the one I talked about above and I can say that it’s absolutely true because I personally experienced it on my skin. I particularly like it because the idea that every place I visit will stay with me forever makes me happy. It gives me joy to think that they will always have a place inside me and will never leave me. That all places and experiences connected with us and help us grow and improve as people. That nothing is lost and we, as we are today, are also the result of the travels and experiences we have experienced.
  • Travel makes you realize that no matter how much you know there’s always more to learn
Traveling makes you realize that regardless of how many things you know there is always something to learn. I had talked about this in my posts about my reasons to travel and I will never stop repeating it. Traveling allows you to learn things you never imagined. Not just about the others around you but about yourself too. Traveling teaches you to know yourself better. To know your strengths and weaknesses and to work on them. Traveling is a continuous endless lesson if you just let it go.
  • The most beautiful thing in the world is, of course, the word itself
I couldn’t agree more with this quote. The most beautiful thing in the world is the world itself. Being able to always explore something new and have in front of us a myriad of places to know and deepen. I believe there is nothing more beautiful than the idea of having this great world waiting for us to welcome us. Nature, monuments, everything that has been, is and will be. Infinite possibilities for growth there, one step away from us, ready to be cultivated. I can’t imagine anything more exciting. The world in all its entirety at hand that awaits us.
  • The world is a book and those who don’t travel read only one page
There are so many things just outside our comfort zone. In some cases they aren’t seen because we’re too much blinded by our lives, in others we can see faint flashes of them. But it is when we stop and stop thinking for a moment about our frenetic lives that we notice them immediately. Opportunities that await the right moment to be experienced. Because living without having traveled leads to not living your life to the full, because there are experiences that only traveling can be experienced. There are things that only those who have traveled can try.
  • One’s destination is never a place but rather a new way looking at things
This quote partly incorporates the others quotes and many things that I have already said in other posts on traveling. Traveling doesn’t mean just visiting new places but for those who are ready with an open mind it also means learning. Learn that there are different points of view and different ways of seeing the same things. You learn to see things under different lights with someone else’s eyes. You open your mind to other realities and so you grow personally too. You learn that your point of view is not the only one but there are others that could be just as valid.

These are my favorite quotes about travel. Do you have any quotes that you particularly like or are you attached to?
